Disaster is something we do not hope for but we know it is wise to plan. We know that we are not immune to disasters.

 

The North Alabama Conference has a proud tradition of responding with love to disasters at home and around the world. In our area we are most likely to be affected by weather related disasters such as tornadoes, floods or straight line winds.

Together, We Respond to Disasters

The responsibility of responding to disaster in our conference rest with the Conference Disaster Response Team. This team is made up of Conference Disaster Response Coordinator, lay and clergy District Disaster Response Coordinators, Director of Mission and Advocacy, UMVIM Coordinator, Director of Communication, Bishops Assistant and others.

In the event of a disaster or to participate in the disaster reponse preparation and ministry, please contact your District or Conference Coordinators.
